Hey y'all! I have missed a few posts this month. May has been incredibly challenging but I am going to try and get back on track as soon as possible! This one is short and sweet, hope you enjoy!
My pick of the month for May is a collection of Roald Dahl short stories! Now, I may be a bit biased in my opinion of Roald Dahl. He has been my favorite author since my first reading of Matilda years and years ago. I own most of his children’s stories and adore them still, even today.
In the fall I was wandering around a bookstore when I found an interesting collection of his works. These collections dive deeper into the darker side of human nature and explore areas such as madness, deception, lust and cruelty. The stories are short and sweet and almost always leave you with an Ah-Ha moment!
My favorite out of the collection is Madness but they all are exceptional. The omnibus also has the stories from these collections and more, but I personally like the stories sectioned into categories more. If you like Roald Dahl’s clever children’s stories, then you are going to love these adult geared stories as well!

Let me know what you think of these books, if you have read them before, or plan to!
